You may find our FAQ’s helpful in answering some questions you may have about our hotel facilities, services and amenities. If you don’t find your answer here, please feel free to fill out our Contact Us form or call us at 1-800-327-5476. We look forward to assisting you.  

General

  • What is your check-in/check-out time?

    Check-in time: 4:00 PM

    Check-out time Monday - Saturday: 11am and Sunday is 10am.

  • Can baggage be stored at the hotel?

    Yes, our bellmen will be happy to store your bags. Additional fee may apply.

  • Can you receive and hold packages for guests? Any limitations?

    Packages can be held for 24 hours at no cost.

    The Newport Beachside is pleased to receive deliveries that our guests order online. Please have packages marked "Hold for Guest Arrival” + date of arrival in the address box.

    There is a charge $3.00 per package per day after the first day, if the package is over 5lbs, we charge $5.00 per package per day.

    NOTE: We will not be responsible for any lost or damaged shipments. If you receive tracking confirmation, please save that information. Shipments will only be given to the person they are addressed to. Identification will be required. The maximum amount of time we will hold guest shipments for pickup is 14 days. If deliveries / shipments are not claimed 14 days after we have received them, we will return them to the sender.

Dine

  • Do you have any restaurants on the property?

    Yes, we invite you to dine with us at Cappuccinos and Coconuts Bar & Grill.

    Cappuccinos: Open daily at 7am for coffee, breakfast, and Grab & Go options. 

    Coconuts Bar & Grill: Open daily from 11am - 10pm for lunch, dinner, poolside dining, cocktails and more. 

Parking

  • Does your hotel provide parking?

    We provide Valet-parking to all guest for a fee of $35 plus tax per day

     

  • Is secure parking available?

    Yes, we do have secure parking however we are not responsible for any missing items.

Fees

  • What is the resort charge and what does it include?

    The resort fee is $30 per day per room (local city taxes will be applied).  

    The resort fee includes access to the beach, beach towels, a maximum of two beach chairs per day, incoming faxes, voicemail, local calls, and fitness center. Additional beach chairs, cabanas, & umbrellas can be rented for an additional price.

  • Is early check-in or late check-out available?

    Guests may request an early check-in and/or a late check-out by contacting the hotel directly. Please note that these requests are based on availability and cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival.

    Should the hotel be able to fulfill this request, our early check-in fee is $80 per guestroom and our late check-out fee is $75 per guestroom based on availability.

    Early check-in ensures that your room is available before the hotel check-in time of 4:00pm local hotel time. 

    Late check-out is extended until 4:00pm local hotel time.  Any late check-out after 4:00pm will be required to pay for a full night stay based on the prevailing rate for that day. 

Smoking

  • Is the hotel smoke-free?

    Yes, the hotel is 100% smoke-free.
    There is a $200 smoking purification fee.

Pet Policy

  • Do you have a pet policy?

    Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort does accept pets no larger than 40 lbs. There is a $100 non-refundable fee per pet for the additional cleaning that is necessary after a pet occupies a room. 

  • Is there a fee or deposit for service animals?

    No. Neither a deposit nor a surcharge is required for service animals. However, the hotel may charge a guest if a service animal causes damages to the hotel guestroom or comon areas.

  • Is there a business center at the hotel?

    No, we do not have a business center at the hotel, but we do have a computer availablie at the concierge desk for guest usage

  • What amenities do you have available in your guest rooms?

    Yes, guests can request these items and they can be purchased on-site.

  • Is there a fitness center on-site?

    Yes, we have a fitness center in the lower lobby.

  • Are there spa services on-site?

    Yes, we have a full service salon and spa on-site, Seven Seas Spa & Salon. 

  • Is there laundry on-site or a laundry service?

    We have laundry facilities on-site.  The washer costs $1.50 and the dryer costs $1.25.

  • Does the hotel provide transportation?

    We do not provide transportation services at this time. 

Accessibility

  • Do you have accessibility equipment for the deaf?

    yes, we do have equipment for the deaf. The hotel is equiped with TTY Machines 

  • Do you have accessible bathrooms available?

    Yes, we have accessible bathrooms available for our guests.

  • Are there accessible paths of travel at the hotel?

    Yes, we do offer accessible paths of travel.

  • Is there accessible parking available?

    Yes, we do have accessible parking available.

  • Do you offer family and/or adjoining rooms?

    Yes, we do offer adjoining and connecting rooms.

  • Do you have roll-a-way beds available?

    Yes, we offer roll-a-way beds for a charge of $35.

    Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all public spaces inside the hotel.

Photography Policy

  • What is the Photography Policy?

    VISITOR & AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY
    Visitors and guests at Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort are permitted to take photographs and shoot videos for personal use only. Photography may not block, disrupt or hinder visitor access or circulation of paths and walkways. Personal photographs and videos are not to be used for commercial purposes. Use of lamps, reflector shades, tripods, or change of outfits constitutes Professional Photography (see below).


    PROFESSIONAL & SPECIAL OCCASION PHOTOGRAPHY
    Any requests for professional photography/ videography require prior approval and are subject to a $750 sitting fee for the use of our space (up to 1 hour). Professional photo sessions include engagement sessions, family portraits, anniversaries, quinceaneras, graduations, prom, maternity, blogs, social media, styled shoots, birthdays, etc. Sessions must be scheduled 5 days in advance. Photographers must provide a copy of their COI. Wedding photography is only allowed for clients contracted for a wedding at Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort.

    Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort reserves the right to turn away photographers/ videographers if they have not booked in advance and have the right of refusal based on community standards/content. If at any time a staff member witnesses unapproved photoshoots or behavior that disrupts other guests or the property, you may be asked to leave the premises.
